Use of Timetoast Vincent Van Gogh

 

Hello everyone, as you know, I`m Primary teacher so I have used this strategy of the creation on a timetoast related to the biography of Vincent Van Gogh since we are going to study it in Arts.

Beforehand, it is necessary to introduce our students about his life in order to contextualized our project about pointillism and use of primary colours.

Timetoast allows us to simplify information to our students ir order to grass their attention, engage reading and catch a general view of a reading.

Also, it produces a clear visual impact because it is very organized, so students can memorised better.

In my case, my students are in 3rd grade of Primary Education and they don't have their Information and Communication abilities developed. Then, I have created it in order to show to my students and share with my classmates.

I have shown to my students and I was really visual, amusing, clear and brief.

From my point of view, I considered really important to read and to do a draft about the most important facts, search images and after that, students could start with the process of creation.

Timetoast pursues different learning objectives like:

- Engage students to extensive reading.

- Foster skimming and scanning abilities in reading.

- Develop their writing skills in a simplify way.

- To sump up texts and get the most relevant information.
