Genial.ly Hawái

Pupils in the 6th grade of Primary Education are asked to create a genially related to different countries where the English Language is spoken. This project will be developed in the first term due to the celebration of the European Day of languages celebrated on the 26th September of every year. This activity will be developed in groups of 3 students, where they have to share information at home and later, they bring back to school in order to create in the school the genially in collaboration and with the help of the teacher. In this case, each student has a role: all of them are searcher of information. Later, one of the is the designer, the illustrator and the writer. It is important to mention that this genially is made by me since my students are too young. However, one day, when they know how to manage new technologies, I’m sure I`m going to put into practice since it engages students to work collaborative at home or in the classroom as a group, it strengthens social interactions, students learn from each other’s and the most important ones, it is a motivating activity where visual aid prevails.
